Description

Ingredients

  • 0 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0 teaspoons salt
  • 24 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
  • 0 cups granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Roll tablespoon-sized balls of dough and coat them in granulated sugar.
  8. Place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until just set and the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  11. Allow to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
