Delicious pulled chicken subs with white BBQ sauce.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup white BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 4 soft hoagie rolls
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 6-7 minutes per side).
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, cider vinegar, honey (or brown sugar), and smoked paprika until smooth.
- Once chicken is cooked, let rest for five minutes before shredding it using two forks.
- Mix shredded chicken with the white BBQ sauce until well coated.
- Assemble subs by placing shredded chicken on hoagie rolls and topping with lettuce, tomato slices, and onion rings.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add hot sauce to the white BBQ sauce mixture.
