Description

This Chocolate Pumpkin Bread is a deliciously moist treat perfect for fall.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  5. Gently stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
