Instructions
- Make the Caramel
- Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in cream and cook until slightly thickened.
- Stir in flaky salt and set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Dough
- Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Beat butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla.
- Combine and Swirl
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until dough forms.
- Gently fold caramel into dough, creating ribbons.
- Bake
- Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F for 12–14 minutes.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt while warm.

- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
